In 2012, I left the corporate world of journalism and reporting, and decided to use my storytelling and communication skills to help small businesses.
It really started with the birth of my son and moving into a new home. I started a home decor line and got stuck. I kept wanting to offer online marketing skills instead. After meeting with several small business owners: I noticed several of them were frustrated after developing great products... struggling to sell easily to the ideal customers due to poor marketing and no brand story. I started matching up businesses together to sell their products together in fun deals and collabs and it made a huge difference! After that, I created Slay Collective, a place where so many Muslim women entrepreneurs could be featured and could network and learn business and marketing because I felt so alone. And its just taken off from there! I combined the hub with an agency aspect and we offer services for brands there.
My mission has always been to help Muslim women entrepreneurs succeed in the places I often struggled and lacked support.
During Covid, so many small businesses suffered and I realized that I knew how to teach online course creation skills and so many of these women had something to teach the rest of us! It was my lightbulb moment.

Yes. Just like a website, you will need to choose a platform where you will be uploading your course - even if that is Youtube or within Facebook. You will get a tech comparison cheat sheet to help you with making decisions and we will also talk about it in the modules/group.
What if my product isn't ready to sell yet?

We go through all of that in our modules.
